Fuel Selector Switch
The fuel selector switch is located on the instrument panel to the left-hand side of the steering wheel as shown in the diagram. The switch has 3 positions described below:
LPG - In this position the engine will operate on LPG fuel.
Centre - In this position the engine will not operate on either fuel, additionally the engine will not crank.
ULP - In this position the engine will operate solely on unleaded petrol.
Fuel Gauge (Interface)
The level of LPG is measured using the existing petrol gauge on the dash of the vehicle. This is referred to as an ‘interface’ gauge, whereby the gauge measures 2 different fuels, depending on the fuel operation of the vehicle at the time. During LPG operation, the fuel gauge will show the level of LPG in the LPG storage cylinder; the same gauge will show the remaining petrol in the tank when operating on ULP (petrol).
LPG filler location
The LPG filler is located either on the drivers side of the vehicle just behind the passenger compartment under the tray for cab/chassis vehicles, or in the rear panel of the vehicle next to the number plate for Pickup vehicles.
