Emission Certification
All SGI dual fuel kits supplied by Victorian Autogas Supplies meet the emission requirements of AS1425:2007 and come with the appropriate documentation for your protection.

Benefits of Sequential Gas Injection:
- Minimal performance difference.
- Longer engine life.
- Considerable savings in fuel costs.
- Less pollution.

Vehicle Performance on SGI:
- Only a slight increase in specific consumption compared to petrol (depending
upon engine capacity and driving habits, it can range from 10% - 20%)
- Power loss is imperceptible.
- The higher Octane rating of LPG, suppresses engine "knock" resulting in
improved engine performance and drivability.

Safety
All SGI systems designed and supplied by Victorian Autogas Supplies meet the requirements of AS1425:2007. This means each system is equipped with safety devices that eliminate the risk of explosion.

Fuel Selector Switch
(Dash mounted) The fuel selector switch is mounted on the dash. It is a "touch" type switch, which means that to operate it you simply press the
button in the centre of the switch. When petrol is selected as the fuel a red LED will glow on the switch and the petrol fuel level will be that shown on the vehicles' fuel gauge. When LPG Autogas is selected an orange LED will glow on the left hand side of the switch and a row of four green LED's will glow in the centre of the switch. These green LED's indicate the level of autogas in the LPG cylinder e.g four lights indicates a full cylinder 2 lights indicates half full etc. When all green lights go out a red LED appears in the centre section of the switch indicating you are running on the reserve level of autogas. The switch will "beep" to alert you that you are running on reserve and when this is used the vehicle will automatically switch to running on petrol and only the red LED on the top right of the switch will glow.

When starting the vehicle with autogas selected as the fuel, both the orange autogas LED will flash and the red petrol LED will glow steady. This is because the vehicle automatically starts on petrol and switches to operate on autogas when the engine temperature and RPM reach normal operating levels. It is important therefore to ensure the level of petrol does not fall below ¼ full as damage could occur to the vehicle fuel pump.

Fuel Gauge (Interface)
The level of LPG is measured using the existing petrol gauge on the dash of the vehicle. This is referred to as an interface gauge, whereby the one gauge measures 2 different fuels, depending on the fuel operation of the vehicle at the time.

During LPG operation, the fuel gauge will show the level of LPG in the LPG storage cylinder; the same gauge will show the remaining petrol in the petrol tank when operating on ULP (petrol).

LPG filler location
The LPG filler for the Mazda E2000 (SWB, MWB & LWB) is located on the right hand side of the vehicle, below the existing petrol filler.

Cylinder location
The LPG storage cylinder for the Mazda E2000 (SWB, MWB & LWB) is located under the rear of the vehicle.

Medium and long wheel base cylinders hold a useable 65 litres of LPG, and the short wheel base cylinder holds a useable 49 litres of LPG.

The spare wheel is relocated to inside the vehicle cargo area ulilising an engineered vehicle specific bracket.

All LPG cylinders are tested in accordance to the relevant design rules and Australian Standards.
